Your strategy is as sound as Gold!.. Off-grid backup is a time-tested method that never fails. Just regularly test the health of your backup disks, just in case!

Online-backup is okay too for non-private data, or in heavily encrypted files.. I know that I don't need to tell you to never trust them with your private data :-)
