Last night I saw the Killing Season (2013) with John Travolta and Robert De Niro for the first time. Great plot and of course excellent actors, but a movie that is quite dark in mood and tone. It tell the story of two Bosnian War veterans, American and Serbian. The Serbian (John Travolta) was out for revenge after he had allegedly been executed by a squad of American soldiers. He was given evidence that Robert De Niro had executed him, however he somehow survived it, enough to pursue Robert De Niro to his forest home in the Appalachian Mountain wilderness after years of research to discover the truth. Movie produced some great scenic shots worthy of oscards, but not sure whether the theme was quite my cup of tea. I'm more into action who dunnit type movies - the movie was quite heavy on emotion. Still, this was a quality movie with great story, acting and production so has to get 9/10.
