Will Amsterdam ever taste the dangerous but sweet fruit of retribution? In 1862, Amsterdam Vallon returns to the Five Points area of New York City seeking revenge against Bill the Butcher, his father's killer.

A movie I have seen a few times on TV but always tuned in way to late at almost the end.

Finally decided to watch it from the beginning to the end once at least.

A pilot is sent into the Soviet Union on a mission to steal a prototype jet fighter that can be partially controlled by a neuralink. The Soviets have developed a revolutionary new jet fighter, called "Firefox". Naturally, the British are worried that the jet will be used as a first-strike weapon, as rumors say that the jet is undetectable on radar. They send ex-Vietnam War pilot Mitchell Gant (Clint Eastwood) on a covert mission into the Soviet Union to steal the Firefox.

A movie that was recommended to me by a co-worker. Clint Eastwood movie. Well, the way Russia is pictured in that movie is funny and pretty inaccurate. The way actors speak in Russian is also pretty bad. Well, it's a 1980s movie. Cold war and etc. Cars don't even look that Russian for the most. Same for many things like places, clothes and etc.

Other than that the plot seems interesting. However still lacking. Also the idea of that super plane and such stuff. I mean it's not like it's a really bad movie but it does not picture most of the things properly. Really badly rather. I would therefore also not rate it much better than average.

An in-depth examination of the ways in which the U.S. Vietnam War impacts and disrupts the lives of people in a small industrial town in Pennsylvania. Michael, Steven and Nicky are 3 best friends who enjoy going deer hunting quite often. These men get enlisted to head to Vietnam to fight for their country and celebrate with a farewell party, as well as Steven marrying a pregnant woman named "Angela." After the horrors during the war and edge-grabbing games of Russian Roulette that these men are forced to play, Michael returns home and realizes that his deer hunting outings aren't the same as they used to be, because of the war and he eventually finds out that Steven is handicapped and Nicky hasn't returned from Vietnam, and in response, he heads back to Vietnam to rescue him.

A really great movie about the impacts of the Vietnam war with the U.S. Great cast. While it is a older movie it is a really really good movie!

The Vietnam war and may other wars started by the U.S. are horrible and unnecessary things. They did it to themselves. The U.S. are probably one of the top countries with the most Veterans and many have PTSD and other issues. Despite of being pictured as heros a lot of Veterans are poor and homeless. Many kill themselves due to their mental state / PTSD. They're not the same they have been...

To his customers, he was astute, decisive, and helpful. To his friends, he was a quiet, but humorous man who enjoyed watching sports on television. To his girlfriend, he was shy but engaging. None of them knew the other side of Dan Mahowny, the side that executed the largest single-handed bank fraud in Canadian history, grossing over ten million dollars in eighteen months to feed his gambling obsession.

Gambling is really a dangerous thing! And if you are a bank manager it is even more so. Money really makes you crazy if you have too much of it and a gambling habit.
