Hmm, I haven't heard this kind of behavior from Gmail either, I have two accounts which none of them are verified and I log into them from different VPN's all the time. Google hasn't disabled them? Is this a new feature that is yet to be rolled out or something else? I don't want to use gmail and that's why I moved to protonmail from the start, they don't track you or disable you if you log in from different places

@deanhills I've tried so many times to make an appeal and explain completely what happen but I think their appealing section is automated, as I've read an article that responses from appealing GMAIL account to enable is all automated by their machine. Thanks for the suggestion about to pay the account as I really desperate to take back the email as I played already days on it and It really breaks my heart if I wont get it back.

@rudra I'm not really sure what is the real reason of my block but I think everytime I change device and login Google detect as unusual activity not sure that is the only reason I can think of.

@Manal Yes, Google notified but when they notified my account already disabled so I wont get any chance to check it and their reply is general they just add the link of user policy.

I also have multiple google accounts.I never faced any disabling problem with my Google accounts.I have logged my google account in 3 different devices but it is working everywhere.
I don't know why you are facing btw i use Two Step Verification system maybe thats why google is not disabling it or something else.

Does this work with a phone number? So maybe Google is trying to force all of its users to provide their phone numbers and to use the Chrome browser by signed in all of the time?

I'm beginning to think I should start to use my proton mail more regularly. Google is getting more and more controlling. Not that it wasn't controlling before. Looks as though we now have to protect our Google accounts against Google.

I have Google, Microsoft, Proton Mail, and Yahoo. I diversify my e-mail accounts. Microsoft is just as problematic, but now a little easier than Google used to be. It used to be the other way round. Google was more logical and easier to sort out when one moved from one region to another. Yahoo is the most relaxed for now after having been very strict for a long while. I don't have that many regional issues any longer with Yahoo. Bottom line, it changes all of the time, depending on their latest policy or security strategy. Probably better to move away from these commercial e-mails.

We operate in very different environments, I suspect. I'm mostly expected to have [email protected]. Or, in this case, [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected]. In my earlier life, before retirement, it was [email protected].

So, I see a gmail or hotmail address as unprofessional.

And, Yandex can be kind of weird. I find it easier to sign up using their Russian language site and using Google translate. I use them for the email for a few sites. That way members can have an email address.

Hosting a mail server isn't easy yet, @KGIII I used to operate one and its really hell to earth just to get your overused VPS's IP to be whitelisted in the mail system. Most of them goes to spam. And then there's the question of the software. I haven't seen better alternative than mailcow but its docker and I hate docker.. So in long run its not really feasible
