How to test your VPS Internet speed

very nice tutorial, cleanly explains how to do it. I used to use another tutorial before but It kind of got outdated so gonna bookmark this one now I guess xd

I was really a fan of Speedtest.net, but since I know that some or most providers allow larger bandwidth to Speedtest.net servers then I use smaller speedtester websites which give real values.
I would be really happy if someone make a tutorial about how we can make our own speedtest server with our VPS-

i dont know but for me speedtest.net is accurate . i try speedtest/net and other web and the result is mostly same . the difference is mostly margin error . but i dont know about other maybe other isp other than what i use is doing a speed cheating

speedtest web is not such accurate site. ive seen better. still everyone use it Smile

You'll need unlimited bandwidth with at least a Gbps or more as network to can handle high results because if your server is like 100 Mbps so it'll give max speedtest result 100 Mbps or less so you need high connection.

Actually speedtest isn't that pro, only normal people uses it but if you want the best so I'd rather using iperf, it gives your VPS full speed without bullshit or something.
