Sleep Hours..How many do you have each day?

for myself . my bedtime 6-9 hours. I think sleep can may bodies fresh and make us the spirit of the activity. according to the study. that is at bedtime. a process detoksinification to cure toxin

As far as I know, our body needs 8 hours of sleep a day, but personally me I only slept 5 - 6 hours a day because of my online jobs at night, then I'm so sleepy in my work at morning, so sad but I need to this for my family.
Power naps in between are effective in regaining energy. Being a student i have enough time after noon to take such naps. Maybe you can take such naps at night in between your "Online Jobs"  Cool Big Grin

I was told sleeping by noon is a bad habit Wink

Don't know but during earlier days when the heat is too much to bear and there are no luxuries like fan or AC, people live through it by taking rest at noon. Could be that there is some scientific explanation for it as well.

Usually I sleep to 6-8 hours if I have my classes. But now its Ramadan. So I sleep from 11.00 PM to 2.00 PM Big Grin its like 14 hours Big Grin . But during this time. I need to wake up for 1 hour for Sehri And Fazr Namaz.

Yup! power naps is very effective but I can't take naps at night it's because it will not be a nap anymore instead I will sleep continuously lol

LOL! I'm also bitten by this "Excessive sleep" bug ! I sleep for 10-12hours like 3 days a week now! What the heck is going wrong with me?

i have full day school at my collage start from 7am until 5pm after that i sit on front of my pc until 11 pm so i sleep from 11 pm until 6 am its about 7 hours sleeping Smile

I don't think that would be a bad habit.
Because in the Mediterranean are like Greece people sleep a little at afternoon.

I mostly sleep 6-7 hours a day, but it differs for everyone.

Even though six hours sleep is enough for an healthy adult if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or heart deceases or othet illess then 8 hour sleep gives body much needed rest.

In my case i try to sleep 6 - 7 hours.
