Well to be honest i check my mailbox around 4-5 times a day and i have setup domain based email forwarding to a single mail box but suddenly from few days i am receiving daily emails about my email account got hacked and asking me to give 866 American dollars in btc and the best part the mail box being hacked isn't actually mail box just a domain forwarder but as they say the fools have no way to go.

It was already in spam folder and as for email the sender always use my own email in the from section the only way to track him down is the ip attached in header. Btw i myself is a security analyst probably not that good but i have been reporting spams/scams since i got them first in my mailbox.

just make sure to not fall for it . those spam email just scare you to make you pay for the 'ransom' . the spammer actually doesnt have any access to your account , computer , etc
