I have played a lot of games but nothing has influenced me more than the Assassin's Creed franchise and no I am not talking about the new games but the old ones.
My favorite one of these has to be the Ezio trilogy and more specifically Assassin's Creed 2.
That game was just different. It not only had a good fighting sequence but also a moral, with every mission completed and story advanced I felt like I was working/contributing for a greater cause, the Assassins. The way the assassins took pledges, obeyed certain assassin codes still gives me the chills.
And of course there is CS:GO which requires no explanation
