How about Open VZ 7?  Have you heard any feedback about the successful installation of Ubuntu 18.04 template on Open VZ 7?

No, nothing.

I don't have any OpenVZ 7 VPS nor have I heard from a friend or provider about it. I don't bother with OpenVZ 7 to be honest. KVM or nothing else (kinda).

SolusVM is also a paid software. Not much of a point to setup a virtual environment just to test this out. This is just for VPS holders with access to their control panel when it is SolusVM.

Virtualizor installation way is also pretty much the same overall.
