I think MyBB is the best. Simple, open source, plugins and template makes it the best forum software in my opinion.

I love NodeBB and Flarum. Among paid, I like Xenforo and Burning Board. I voted for Xenforo since they give you a lot of options. MyBB has too many options in ACP. Hard for me to find what I am looking for.

I'll vote for myBB are simple but powerfull and FREE.

If you have money, then IPB is good. But if you do not want to pay then you can go to MyBB, which is good.

Is there a way to use Xenforo for free? I'm looking only for legal methods. For example old version or community version without support, etc.

Xenforo was 100% paid since beginning. They not even do discount coupons or similar sale promos. May be they are right. Why do such stunts when you sales are going great already ?
