Main features of post4vps is high amount of resources and KVM servers. So it's little different from freevps. At freevps there aren't many KVM vps offers and even those available doesn't have lots of resources here.

I don't know if lowering post amount would get more members here because it depends on the requirement. If you want a Linux vps and don't need 2GB RAM then you can your vps easy fast at freevps or freedomainclub. Also it's easy to make posts there since they have less restrictions about spam. But if you are looking for 2GB RAM or a KVM vps then this is the only option out there.

Exactly if you are have a website then review post4vps there it will really help post4vps to grow, Share post4vps with your friends who want a free KVM VPS it ll also help post4vps to grow. Once my forum get few user there i ll share post4vps there and also a review there, i am trying to make a forum which is full of resources and more of it i ll release some thing special there for free maybe my MyBB customized designs or my Graphic designs but it need it some users there.

Specially when you get those for free. There is a one whole world of webmasters who use KVM/Windows servers everyday for social marketing and things like keyword research, blacklink building etc but the If I just put out the word I'm sure they will be a flood of members but I dont if it will be good for bad long term. Without a question there will too many abusers among them and I think it will become more headache than any benefit.

Just like what happened to Server-Verleih.eu. Even thought in my opinion it's almost their owners fault.

Free services are massively abused because they are free and anyone can get free things. Specially windows VPS are in demand only for marketing and research not for development(except some good users and developers) i seen many users requesting free windows VPS but they get loose their vm due to heavy load and lots of email sent. Server-Verleih.eu closed due to some spammers who are sending bulk mails for marketing purpose and get the IP blocked by some search engines and email services, so the owners decide to close server-Verleih project. Also bitcoin mining is now in trend windows VPS owners and it lead them to heavy load and resource abuse, i seen on digitalocean as their most of VPS are using to mine bitcoin by the help of faucet and some miners.


How ever i guess post4vps also need some testers/watcher who will watch all VPSs for any suspicious activity like bulk emails and heavy load.

Biggest issue is even if you kick them out it's hard to ips de-listed. It's really hard to monitor all severs specially when more and more servers given out every problem. But one good thing about it it mass mail spammer only target those totally free services like server-Verleih.


They don't want to make posts or do it every month. So P4H type won't get hit by those biggest and worst. Problem with server-Verleih was it's too good to be true. They were handing over servers for nothing so it's kinda asking for trouble.

I agree if they have asked us to do some posts then it less the no of abusers and spammers. I am seen a automated bot for forums who search all over forums/website for completely free things and then identify the owner of the bot so he can get the free thing for nothing in exchange. Server-Verleih was really too good not only for us but also for spammers who got a free server for nothing.

I have 2 vps at WeLoveServers but it seems port 25 is close by either data center (That's the official story ) or by themselves (what I think). Their whole IP range has been blacklisted for months.

I wonder how they got those severs at Server-Verleih I mean from data centers. Those were good severs. I had a keyword research software running and has no problem at all. I have it in my paid vps to and these were no difference performance wise.

I know about weloveservers their datacenter blocked port 25 for all IP ranges that assigned to weloveservers, and it might be true as they are victim of bulk email sent out and it is difficult get IP range out from black list.

Server-Verleih got thier servers from colo datacenter, interworx and other datacenters of germany and netherlands. But these servers are pretty awesome and fast still they are on regular IDE HDD not even on SATA also their connection speed is abput 1GB/sec that was too amazing servers for me.

SV had Sata HDDs. The default drivers on the VMs use the "IDE" driver and not the virtio driver which made it slower.
AFAIK they are colocated (They own the hardware I think).
Why talk about a dead site though?

WLS got their service abused because of their cheap price AFAIK.
