Also, they need to follow the policy on their US servers even if they're not registered as a business in the USA as their upstream provider is in USA.
As for other continents, most of the hosts would honor DMCA takedowns. Unless you host on "DMCA-ignored" servers.
Post4vps just a facilitator not a hosting provider. Because these servers are not theirs except for what that rented. Legally US government can only do a thing about anything. It's pretty much same about. Only problem is if it makes sponsor unhappy then it's bad for post4vps too. The owner is not a US citizen and Im pretty sure this is not a US registered business. I think we do have VPSĀ hosted at Russia ? for example if the sponsor is not a US person Then admins can give it to OP. But of cause since it's a kinda unusual matter better get the sponsors opinion about it.
DMCA. That's a US legal policy. It's only effected if you are a registered business in US, US citizen or hosting in a Data center based on USA. Don't apply for other countries. But Some of other countries do have their own copyright laws. At at EU they have different copyright laws in different countries. Like UK and Germany take it seriously and Netherlands and few other countries doesn't bother about it much. For example Romania. But the problem in EU is you can sue for something happen in Netherlands at German court. EU legal system has become complicated and confused with all these stuff they add it to daily. But other than that if hosted in a Eastern European Server including Russia or Even in China they completely ignore DMCA unless you can hire a local lawyer and press on that.
