I think you can disable updates in Settings->Windows Update->Advanced Settings
Defer update for more days, I used that settings and had no issues of data lose in my data plan.

but you need to do that every time . the best solution is to disable update completely but you need update to install graphic driver . but if you already installed it just disable it completely windows update
