It's really good to use VestaCP. For beginners and new comers, I suggest to use VestaCP. You can also use the other panel too. But for me, I love VestaCP more than the other panel.
You can also use terminal to do it, but more complicated and confusing. Better to use VestaCP to handle

And also, AFAIK, VestaCP come with Softaculous too. So you can install other CMS on easy way. But Softaculous doesn't include Wordpress on their free license. So you still need to follow this thread (and thankfully, it's really clear tutorial by Deanhills).
