It can be the post counter is not being hosted by us so i can't say about it, but i will suggest you to not add image based postcounter as it increase the load on server by querying multiple times for a single user. I hope you can understand.

Does the current post count feature in the author info work accurately? Can I believe the given information?

As of now it is working perfectly and as for future nothing is clear there can be bugs and issues but we will try to fix them so we won't have to rely on external means.
