Actually no. Over 90% providers allow Windows sever trail. So far I have seen only 4-5 who don't allow among 100's. and I wonder if you have used Windows server trials? You don't use cracks or loaders. Also you don't need to reinstall the trial again. If the trial period has expired then server shuts down it self after 24 or 48 hours and show u the expire msg on desktop. To restart the 180 day trial all you have to do is edit one line in registry. So there is nothing messy about it or anyone has to learn Linux because of that. You need to know some Linux if you work with web servers but not for this.
Plus If you are into things like SEO tools and some other things then you need to use Windows Servers because those tools are made for Windows. Learning Linux won't change anything.
