I see you're still struggling to install VestaCP in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, eh? AFAIK, VestaCP users mostly don't recommend to use Ubuntu, use Debian instead. It's more light than Ubuntu but mostly still have the same feature as Ubuntu. I always use Debian with VestaCP instead Ubuntu since there is a problem with mailing system, while in Debian it's not.
Anyway, you guys also recommend Cyberpanel, I can agree on that. That panel is pretty clear, I had no problem using that in the past, not even looking at their documentation but still everything ran perfectly. I should consult with Google and VestaCP's documentation to use VestaCP while with Cyberpanel not. But, if we compare Cyberpanel's documentation with VestaCP's documentation, I would 100% choose VestaCP. It's easier to understand and complete.
i never used cyberpanel or even heard of it before . i dont use panel espescially that isnt cpanel and in case cpanel isnt available i use terminal instead without any panel . the only panel that is user friendly is cpanel . that is why they can charge so much because they are monopoly in panel that actually work and easy to use
vesta cp and other sh*tty panel doesnt care about the user . they only care about themself with extremly cryptic user experience . and speaking about the experience . using temrinal to manage the website is MORE USER FRIENDLY BETTER USER EXPERIENCE than any of the panel like vesta cp . i also use ispconfig and it is really weird like vesta cp . basically the creator of this panel want to make people life hard not easier like what cpanel does
for my website i use terminal . with lemp configuration linux nginx mariadb php no panel required
