Do not learn Java or C/C++/C# first. Their syntax is kind of complex and not good for beginners. You should probably learn Python first - it's both simple and powerful.

Learning Java or C/C++/C# first is not as bad as you thought.

Although pure C may be a bit more complex for some beginners, java, C++ or C# is good for them.

So you can still consider learning java, C++ or C# which are much more simple first, and then C.
