[Solved/being investigated] VPS 9 - Phoenix
#1
I'm just creating this thread for the record.  VPS 9 - Phoenix went down tonight.  Not sure what happened.  Hope it's not VestaCP related.  First sign was when I couldn't get my blog up.  It said the database was not working.  I then checked VestaCP and managed to fix the database by restarting the service.  All Websites were OK after that.  Within minutes afterwards the whole VPS went down.  Couldn't SSH into it, also was unable to get into the Admin Panel for Phoenix VPS 9, the panel hanged and timed out - all other VPS Panels were OK.  So obviously something significant possibly happened to the Phoenix VPS Node.  have submitted a ticket for it.

All other location VPS 9's are OK.  I checked.  Just Phoenix that went down.  First time that's happened in almost a year of having it.  Wonder whether this is a sign that I need to make a change?  Tongue

Looks as though there is a network issue with the Phoenix VPS 9.  My service is OK for now - looks as though the issue hasn't been completely resolved yet and is being monitored. All other VPS 9's are OK though. Just Phoenix VPS 9 that is affected.

This should be a golden chance if you want to switch to another VPS 9 location this month, because there should have 2 available.

I am just interested to know how you are going to deal with the possible "conflict of interest" issue if you get to receive more than 2 applications for VPS 9. Smile
Special thanks to VPSVortex for a great KVM VPS.

Well I've been thinking to distance myself from VPS ownership.  Like only using VPSs that haven't been applied for after the Giveaway has been completed, and with next Giveaway return it for the Giveaway, and then take another VPS at the end of the Giveaway that hasn't been applied for.  That way I probably get to know all of the VPSs quite well.
