That's because big screen has not yet come into play with Android. It is more like an entertainment platform, for now.

big screen is actually already come in form of tablet or you can just stream your android using chromecast or something or even better you can use mhl cable to get hdmi out of your phone and get a big screen

entertaiment? well smartphone is actually designed for communication and yes in communication smartphone is better than pc . not about performance but you can take it anywhere and communicate anywhere . for entertaiment pc or console connected to tv will do much better
