How do you seo a Wordpress blog
#11
All in one SEO pack was my very first SEO plugin for Wordpress. But later I found Yoast SEO plugin has lot more features and easy to use. There are so many SEO plugins out there and just find which one is best for you.

Yep. That's the most important thing. If you keep adding lots of unique content then your Wordpress blog would rank well in Google. Using a good SEO plugin would make it even better. These days you can use single plugin to cover most of your SEO needs

Oh yeah I'm using it too. It does the job pretty much. Before I used SEO All in One but then I moved to Yoast because it has more options.

Then you need to go edit source code of Wordpress to do some changes also add things like Google webmaster code etc into footer or header by editor. There is really no point and real gain in that. Plugins let you do all these stuff easily without messing your code.

When I used Wordpress back then, I used to add plugins for SEO, so you should consider that out.

Everyone have to use one of these major SEO plugins for Wordpress. There are no other way to get around it. You cant get done everything manually unless you are willing to mess with core files.
