Question for Admins
#1
Hello there, Hope everyone is doing good!

So the quess i have for admins who does a really great job at managing stuff and giveaways at the forums and everything at the forum i have a question

How do admins count every VPS owner posts and manage them, Do you guys have any Custom-Made Plugin for counting the posts which makes the job easier for you
How much time does it usually takes for counting every VPS Owner Posts, Since there are many VPS Owner as we can see in the list.
I'm sure that it's a really great job for admins doing that! I would really give a huge appreciation to admins for doing such an amazing job!

@sAmI  I've moved this thread from the General to Feedback Forum as most of our post counter topics are in this Forum.

@Dynamo is the technical expert on this topic, so I will allow him to answer your inquiry.  He is the one who has most of the post counting automated with all kinds of different tools.

While we're waiting you could check out Dynamo's topic about the monthly post counter below:

https://post4vps.com/Thread-ADDED-Monthl...r#pid21874

In the same topic also check these posts by Dynamo:
https://post4vps.com/Thread-ADDED-Monthl...9#pid21979
https://post4vps.com/Thread-ADDED-Monthl...9#pid22199

You could also do a Forum search on "post counter" and several topics will come up, but maybe it would be better to get a summary from @Dynamo.  I'm sure all new users would like a summary of how it works. And maybe we could then make it a featured discussion.

Thank you to Post4VPS and VirMach for my awesome VPS 9!

There are two ways which are used by the staff:
1. A MyBB Plugin( https://post4vps.com/Thread-ADDED-Monthl...ter-Plugin ): This counts all users' monthly posts.
2. A private PHP script that does the same but independently.

we basically take both of them into consideration and update users accordingly & keep track of users in form of a thread.

the time utilized here depends upon the number of users who have not completed their posts. sometimes(mostly) they receive PMs from us if they fail to complete their post counts which consume time.

The System would be enhanced in the future, so we don't have to devote much time to do this task and rather focus more on giveaways.

hope I made it clear what you looking for.

Just looked into the thread, never know you built that your own. I thought someone else made it for the community. Nice work @Dynamo. Just wanted to add that if our post get moved, the plugin will count that post as a new post. Last month, two of my posts get moved to new thread and it adds my post counter too. Well if this can be fixed it'll be nice. No rush  Wink
Thanks to Limitless Hosting and Post4VPS for providing me excellent VPS 13!
