Com is for Commercial, if you are going to start a business then .com is a better idea then any other domain .net is also a good choice for ISPs and similar service providers. I seen .org mostly use by NGOs or similar organizations.

Is .forum domain available?? I mean it released?? I heard that there are some domains associated with companies are coming like .samsung .sony . There is also .vps domain.
