Well vBulletin is great because it is more familiar and have a feature like spoiler included . mybb need a plugin to do spoiler
Simple machine . well the problem is that the theme is look classic and i really dont know if that can be changed
mybb is the best choice for free open source because it is have lot o plugin and the theme can be used
