As previously posted a few months ago, WordPress is in the process of a complete editor upgrade that may create conflicts with WordPress themes. The more sophisticated the theme, the more likely there will be a possibility of a conflict.
Looks as though the new WordPress upgrade is due for 19 November.
As a precaution there is a recommendation to load the following Classic Editor Plugin - that will tell the new upgrade to keep the Classic Editor instead of the new editor.
