Worst Phone Brand

Totally true.  But I'd say more for the older models.  Current cheap Nokia models are not as durable and made of much cheaper materials.  But older ones like the ones below have been manufactured to last as long as their gtechnology does.  I am still using my Nokia phones from 2004 - Nokia 1100.  I've got three of them and I'd say for each of them they have fallen at least three times in their life time from a height and survived the falls with not a dent in them.  During the last fall a couple of years ago, it happened on a concrete staircase where battery flew one way, inside of phone in two other directions - I was certain it was the end of the phone.  However, when I put it back together again it was as though nothing had happened to it. Robust is a very good description for the old materials that were used to build the first Nokia cell phones.  I still have the original batteries of all of them and they're still working as well as the first day I purchased the phones.  I still charge them once a week only.  All other phones since the G2 generation phones have been made with a built in obsolescence - with a limited shelf life only.  Nokia's overall quality in each category phone is still higher quality than the norm in that class, but it's not the same quality it was with its first cell phones.

I said the problem was that the screen was easily cracked. So I have to install screen protection

Agreed.  And as far as I know iPhone screens are also vulnerable for cracks and if they fall they also get badly scratched and cracked.  Try and replace an iPhone or iPad screen is almost the same price as the product itself.  So maybe it's a universal problem with all smart phones.

These flaws don't make them worst models though.  Just an offsetting negative of a great screen and a challenge to solve for the smart phone hardware developers.  Hopefully they'll be able to sort this out in future to make screens more durable and high quality at the same time.  My greatest wish would be for them to sort out a power source that is better than the smart phone batteries we're getting. A battery that will never heat up, is much smaller and doesn't need to be charged.  Guess that's still far in the future of innovation for smart phones. sadly not gonna happen . phone developer (hardware developer) want their phone to easy to break because they want people to replace their phone mush faster . from the hardware they cripple the durability from software they cripple it from software by making it slower every update and not giiving newer os version

that is called planned obsolecence and all manafacture love it so much . that where their profit came from . obsoleting their old device much faster than it needs to be

@humanpuff69 It was sort of a marketing strategy, just like what Apple did to their IOS devices, old devices like iPhone 4s it's last firmware update makes the phone slow and experience lag when you use app. This is based on my own experience since before when IOS firmware is still on 7th phase my phone still rock but today it tend to slowing down day by day that is why today my son just using it by watching YouTube videos nothing more.

Totally agreed.  All one needs to do is think of all of those small mobile phone shops that are making business out of repairing phones and replacing screens.  Quite a large segment of the business would go under if they changed phones to be longer lasting.  I still can't get over how very expensive those phones are.  Where do people get all of that money from to not only buy one phone, but to be eager and do almost anything to upgrade it to a next and then a next phone. For me it is very wasteful.  Not to mention littering the environment with obsolete models.

Most people have the money because they piroritize phone than anything else on their budget . This is very popular in my country (indonesia) where there are lot of people that have expensive phone but funny enough doesnt have the money to buy data plan or their tax mostly

making phone last longer is just giving a stronger material . Most phone todays are having a glass back which is easily break and also serve no purpose because you use case anyway so the glass back is kinda useless . and also nowdays phone have smaller bezel making the lcd much more prone to cracking

and littering emviromment is one of the bad thing about this plamned obsolecence ,most company just care about money that they make . But most of the phone component are recycleable espescially with most phone use OLED or organic screen but the battery is still not recycleable
