the vds have a really nice specs espescially it is a VDS that mean that you have dedicated cores not shared with anyone and you can do 100% cpu all the time so this is great for CPU INTENSIVE task like encoding , processing , etc althrough mining isnt reccomended nowdays even gpu are struggling to get profit let alone a cpu . basically VDS stand for VPS with dedicated cpu . it still a virtual machine not a real physical thing

this VDS is great for my project it have 2 DEDICATED CORES something that i really want because my minecraft server that i host now sometime want a 100% but i limit it to 40% because of the vps provider rules fair usage and the problem is that my server will lag when it use more than that 40% cpu . also i have another project that will make great use of the VDS dedicated core

and also for how long the winner keep the vps and what are the requirement . thanks for making this great giveaway

@humanpuff69 The requirements are actually using the VDS/resources. If it's idle for long periods of time it won't stay around. As long as it's active you'll keep it.

Yes as you mentioned CPU intensive tasks are both welcome and wanted on VDS. ffmpeg is fine, as are minecraft servers.

I'd better take part in this,
I will use it for my mcpc server

great almost any other provider dont want to use the full cpu usage but this are encouraging to use the full cpu usage . unlike any other provider i seen . this is great for encoding 24/7 . game server doesnt use 100% all the time and when it does the game server gets lag . mining also 24/7 but it isnt profitable anymore even if you get the vps for free

@humanpuff69 how many players do you have? Are you currently on a E5-2xxx or on a E3?

Were you also entering the giveaway? Wink
Nope.  I'm very happy with my VPS 9 and I also have a small cheap VPS I use for experimenting with.  Also time wise I've got some constraints as I'm traveling in the UAE.  If I'd been at "home" and had some time on my hands, I'd have probably entered the giveaway, just for the fun of it.  I'm very interested in how it would have worked out.

Maybe next time - if there is one. Smile

I'm happy though there are other members who are benefitting from your generosity.  Also great to hear in the shout box how creative you are with creating VPSs.  Definitely a learning experience for me. Cool

E5 v3 but it is shared unfortunately because it is a vps not a vds
the fair use is less than 40% all the time with some burst allowed . basically no intense 100% cpu usage . players is varying depended on the date but the script on the server and maps that make its heavy because even in 0 players it eats 10% - 20% cpu

So 10 players? 20-30? 50? 100? Just curious on how many players it has.
