I do not makes any documents or spread sheet on mobile. MS Office is great on a PC. But did you see, Google Play has listed MS Word among " Editor's choice ". Does Google need MS Office to tell people that Android is awesome ?

I think maybe"Editor Choices" . Mean that app is from top developer . We know ms word is from microsoft . And ms word have very good app. therefore it is nominated

Chinese Baidu company has a very good Microsoft Office clone. It is named as Kingsoft Office. It's very good, worth a try. And the most important: it is totally free.

Yes i have a registered version of MSOFFICE8 on my Xperia Z5 and work fine. but you can't use it as a professionals. small screen not gives you full experience. if someone requests i will provide link of my upload center. for full patched apk file.

Top developer is an entirely different thing. They have a blue icon for that. When Windows phone used to roam around, many people used to think that you would need Windows Phone OS to run MS Office. This could be derived from that.

not really . i use the mobile version and i get the unproductive feeling because lack of feature and that in fact that im working on mobile so on that time i jumped to my pc and work there instead because it is much productive

and even if microsoft make all the feature available i dont think this two legendary feature will come to mobile version . first is the legendary annoying clippy and second is the macro that can be used to make virueses . i really dont think microsoft will port the vba (visual basic for application) that is based on old visual basic 6 and even if they do there will be lot of virueses for android and yes speaking of virueses android already get a virueses even tough it is linux based it already get virueses . i even already see a virus for android that can spy on you i think it is called DroidJack correct me if im wrong

but the new generation probably fine with the on screen touch keyboard but for me and some older people typing in real legit physical keyboard is much much better espescially the mechanical one

There are not that many people who use MS Word on Android. It costs money but people who prefer to use it will use free apps.
