People likes android because it's more easier than Computer, also it have whatsapp,some social media applications which is more easier to communicate with people without needing of going home to open computer & open whatsapp web & send the message, but Windows is better than android in the 'SYSTEM' but people is always looking for the easier so they used the android.

if whaat you mean by "system" is more freedom of modifying your system it isnt really that true even though modding a pc is much safer than a smartphone . you can modify , install vcusrom , root , etc you name it on your android . ios used to have jailbreak but it all have been atched by apple sadly
