@deanhills dude have you tried doing the SHIFT + ENTER for line spacing?

I actually have done that.  I think there may be a similar issue to the one I picked up in WordPress blogs.  If you do any formatting in the section above, like I've bolded something, then there is an issue with paragraph spacing following that formatting.  I probably need to check up on this at the myBB Community Forum too.  For now I'm good however.  Only when I had to use formatting for my tutorial did I come across this issue.
