modern browsers use separate code pages for separate tabs. do not share even the common codes between tabs for even same url sites i think [dont remember it now]. it is just to save us from cross site vulnerability and other problems where where problem code in one tab might affect another if it was shared.
so these optimizations are not always good for you. if you have ram, let the tabs use it. also speeding up seems like more open connections and longer timeouts may be. that is not bad in itself. but might slow things down for new. so use it if you know what you are doing and why. otherwise these might have a negative impact. i mean they are not all a bunch of fools at ff.
