I'm a VPS free panel user myself since 2014. Experience has taught me one has to be super cautious with the free panels, like check that they are regularly updated and to search for reviews of substance first before one uses them. Also the fact they're OK today, may not mean they will be OK tomorrow - one has to check up on them all of the time. There are so many disappointments that have happened because of security issues as if something happens with the ownership of the panel, or the owner loses interest, the panel can turn into a high security risk. If you've been unable to find many reviews of a panel such as Centos Web Panel that for me is already a red flag giveaway to be cautious with using it. Also as far as I know Centos Web Panel has nothing to do with the OS developers CentOS. They're just using the name, which can be misleading. There are better known panels out there. Most popular I've heard about for geeks has been WebMIN because it gives you lots of info about the tech parts of the VPS - it's being used for both dedicated servers and VPSs.
For my own website building purpose I prefer VestaCP. I currently have Softaculous with VestaCP which is half the price of Webuzo - 12 US$. But it helps cut my WP installation and maintenance time by a large percentage. VestaCP is not the safest for beginners, as this year it has come up with some hacking claims mostly with e-mail and I'm almost certain not really VestaCP fault but have no proof of that. My panels didn't get hacked. I'm using it as it's so easy to install and it's being supported by a Forum with lots of documentation. It's very light on resources, fast and efficient because of using nginx on top of apache, and I like its user panel very much. So although it's OK for users with experience who know what the risks are (I only use VestaCP minimally - no e-mail or FTP), it may not be so good for beginners - like maybe it needs to work through some issues first before it can be safely recommended for beginners.
I do support @icaksh's review for WEBUZO above - it's very good for beginners - I used it when I was a beginner myself. Webuzo comes from Softaculous, and of course its main attraction is the Softaculous scripts. Just a caution however - this is a single user panel only and the free version only comes with a limited number of Softaculous scripts that exclude the popular ones like WordPress. Softulous is hoping one will sign up for a premium license, which is what I did at 25 US$ p/a. It uses a bit more resources than VestaCP so one needs at least 1GB RAM minimum otherwise it drags, but it is very well supported by admin who will give you a fast turnaround in support tickets of a few hours at the most. They also have a discussion forum. Just one issue one has to watch out for is that WEBUZO can only be loaded with a minimal OS (without server scripts such as apache) - otherwise Apache in the download will conflict with Apache that came preloaded with the OS. So if anyone is interested in Webuzo make sure you either get a minimal OS installed or use the following commands (with CentOS) before you start the download:

In 2016 February I had a VPS with Interserver.com and they also recommended WEBUZO. You can select in the Interserver Panel to have Webuzo preloaded with the OS - just to give you an idea of what one host does with a panel like this - you could probably do it with other panels too - that way you can make sure it is regularly updated and stays safe as nothing worse for a host like you when clients work with panels that are not secure:

Most popular panel for real geeks and hands on tech is WebMIN - it's a very old panel - looks old too, but I've heard rave reviews about it everywhere and good reports about security updates.
