i tried it.

liked it at first. but 10 min later I preferred the classic again.
it looks definitely more responsive. more advanced.
but for me, I prefer the old classic one.

maybe I can give a new try later as I am not using wp by default.

I think what irritates at the moment are all of the popup little tips and tutorials. I have to agree with you, classic is more simple for me at the moment. I haven't given up to learn how to use it. I'm just more cautious when it's a blog that I don't like experimenting in.
