you could try installing avast free version.
By the way, you seem to be running vista in virtualbox. What os do you use as host ? If it is linux then worry less.
Also I sometimes ask overtly security conscious people to access internet through a vm / machine running pfsense or similar system with some bells and whistles. better for security if used properly.
Finally there is no totally automated safe solution. good security requires interest, hard work and active participation.
