I use to play a lot of good strategy games.

I have played when i was younger a strategy game which most like Rise of nations. but its not that. i installed Rise of nations again and checked its not. game i played have laser gates for the walls and planes which similar to actual ones and had robots (not sure exactly). have any one played a game like that.

I went around the games you told. looks like they are not. one thing remembers about that game was they have only modern technology troops only. initially we get an islan and we have to build the base.

I guess you can try Clash of clans if you haven't tried it yet?

Clash Royale is good too, you can also categorize google play so It only shows Strategic games, that might help

Is it a building game or Command and Conquer game like Red Alert or Civilizations ? or maybe Generals ? All Command and conquer games are about building armies from the start.

From hearing about laser, robots, this actually makes me think about Command and Conquer Red alert or something related to that, i have that game on Steam but never played it.

its a command and conquer game. what i uniquley remember of that game is we can put a gate(laser one) in between the walls and we can lock or unlock it. its been more than 10years since i played it.
