Windows are always free there ISO files are free from there official sites you have to just purchase a simple key which costs very low payment

As long as Microsoft can make sure they get your credit card and personal contact information however. Microsoft will always make sure there is something it it for them. So they will pretend they're free but at the same time make you pay for services. They may even make one pay for updates like some software companies are doing. Like they let you buy their software license for a year, and then if one wants the updates, one pays X dollars for the next year, or one goes without the updates.
