Wait what? Main hosting is down? So the current posts are not counting too or what?

It is sad to see that we lost posts in bulk,
Since I haven't done any kind of restoring of old Backups, I would conclude that it was the provider who had restored the data from an older backup since we already have an automatic backup script installed which backups the forum twice every day. but before I could restore the newer backup, users had already started posting that's why I thought of not restoring the newer backup since then users would lose their posts which were made by them recently.
It was a hard decision for me to stick with old backup.
Hope you guys can understand.

When we came online post4vps was at the exact same place it had been with ZERO post loss. Not sure about the second crash. I'm beginning to wonder whether there was a second crash, and maybe what happened when we went down the second time was the post4vps host had a delayed action to the first crash and decided to load an old backup when it wasn't necessary to load any. He probably should have consulted with @Dynamo first.
I think from Dynamo statement, it's P4V provider backup and they don't know about this? And they surprised with old backup that restored by P4V provider.
As I think, if Dynamo got alert/announcement from P4V provider, he will close down the forum first. I don't know lol. Just my opinion.
