Any other issues on that same phone?

I am looking for some branded phone with same spec like Samsung, Xperia etc.

Try Xiaomi brand bro you'll gonna love the specs with a budget price compare to Samsung etc.

Other than some battery problem which can be fixed by not being on the latest 8.0 and staying on 7.1.1, everything else is gold (I do admit finding a perfect tempered glass protector & cover was frustrating)

I've got a Smartphone - the Sony Xperia X F5122 that I purchased two years ago - however have rarely used.  I don't seem to be able to get enthusiastic about smart phones.  However, that could of course change at any time.  Here are the specs and a review of the phone:

Think one of the reasons I don't like the Smartphones is Android.  It has a chaotic unstructured feel to it pushing Google as much as it can.  I'm thinking of using it during my next travel instead of my laptop, just to give it a little bit of a workout.

The phone I'm using every day is the Nokia 1100 below.  Battery lasts forever - quality of the materials the phone has been built with is awesome - it's almost indestructible.  But it's getting a little old.

I have a OnePlus 3T with Oxygen OS 5.0.3 (Android 8.0).

What does it offer?

CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 821
GPU: Adreno 530
RAM: 6 GB
Storage: 64 GB
Camera: 16 MP back + 16 MP front (front camera is really bad for its 16 MP resolution)
Screen: 5.5 inch 1080x1920px AMOLED
Battery: 3400 mAh

Full details: https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_3t-8416.php

I bought it on the official OnePlus store through the OnePlus site.

For a long time I stay out of smart phones but finally I gave up and decided to buy one. Not one of those expensive one. Just a budget phone. Something like Samsung Grand Prime or maybe a Samsung S4 because it has some nice features even it's old.

I have a Samsung J7 2015 Edition.
It was the first version of the J7 that was released, it was running most android games

Used to have samsung galaxy y,sony xperia e3, huawei p9 lite.
Recently I bought Xiaomi Mi Max3 and I'm super satisfied. Big screen 7,9 inches is great for watcing movies, but not so great for small pockets. I also got belt case for it. Wifi speed is also excellent (speedtest showed 280mbps in both upload and download). Inclusion of headphone jack and ir blaster is a nice touch. Battery with capacity of 5500 mAh lasts for two days with medium usage. As per documentation it has usb otg and reverse charging, but I haven't tested that.

I sold my OnePlus 3T long ago. After that I got a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with Android Go. For a small period I have used a iPhone 6S as my main device just to try it out and see how iOS is. The overall experience was horrible because of a very limited OS and the battery of the phone was pretty dead. After a month or so I changed back to my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Well, the battery life used to be good on the Mi A2 Lite (4000 mAh battery) but with the Android P update it has been totally destroyed. And this is yet again another time, another brand and another Android version upgrade where this happened. This happened on the OnePlus 3T too when I upgraded from Android N to Android O. And previously I had the same issue with a Huawei Honor 6 (Android L to Android N).

Trash devices... all of the phones nowadays ARE TRASH. I have the Mi A2 Lite for less than a year and battery is already so bad. Charged to full, a night of 6 - 8 hours of being idle and only running a alarm once to wake me up and 11% battery gone. I barely have anything installed on it and I close all applications to prevent background usage and such things. I'm using power saving mode already and have enabled this battery AI feature of Android P. Useless technology snake oil. I checked the battery usage log that Android has and it had absolutely nothing listed but I lost 11% over 6 to 8 hours idling. Uhm... Thanks, I guess?

So what is the next phone going to be? Maybe nothing? Or a simple and very cheap feature phone with a battery life of several weeks?
