Hello there,
I could not seriously think of a title seriously, But i will explain my question a little bit
Question 1 : For how long you have played one game and have you played competitively?
Question 2 : Have you played the game at the highest level if yes which game was that.
Counter Strike 1.6/GO :
I have been playing Counter-Strike since i was i guess 6 years old and playing since then till now. I had over 12-13K Hours in 1.6, I played that much at that time. I started my competitive journey through joining onliine TeamSpeak Servers and playing for local teams, Then made my own team in 2015 and won over a 600-700 matches and losing 30-40. 1.6 was the most amazing time in my life and even it plays a huge role in learning programming and many stuff, I started to code many plugins for my own servers. I started playing Global-Offensive in 2018 and playing till now for my own team which is LosersGaming, I have reached the highest level at MatchMaking and 3rd Party service FACEIT. Have 4500 Hours in it atm!
Dota 2 : Played DOTA 2 for 6 months, And have played for rank and at a decent level, But after few patches had to leave, since then the game wasn't really the GAME.
Can i hear anything from other people!
Regards,
sAmI

This is a very new android app from google for crowd-sourced tasks. This app is not like the other survey app from Google that pays in play store credits. You will get paid in local currency.
still in development and invitation only. I have not found anyone to invite me yet.
If any of you know someone who has an invitation then please share your experience. And hopefully an invite.
thank you.

Just to let people know that Gigarocket will be ending it's free hosting on 6th of December. The owner made an announcement that no more applications for hosting will be accepted with immediate effect.
Main reason is financial. The cost of cPanel has gone through the roof, and on top of hosting was no longer financially sustainable during trying times. The owner however said the Forum will stay open as he is still hoping that times may improve to the extent he can re-introduce hosting again at a future date.
If you guys know of any other quality cpanel free hosts, please let me know.

I am dipping my toe in sql lately. My goal is to extend the games I've been working on with multiplayer functionality. I've had some success, but it's a steep learning curve as I'm not well versed with php or sql, the systems being used to integrate the database with the client.
While I experiment with new and interesting ways of organizing user data to enhance the gaming experience, I've got my thoughts centered on security. To have a multiplayer game, I need a way to identify different users, and each must be unique. This necessitates a user database, and means that I'll have to maintain user data and keep it safe while being able to access it and transmit it over the interwebs as needed.
Here's what I've tried so far:
After a great deal of thought, I decided to create a wordpress site to start the database. While probably not the most secure option, it is "the industry standard" as the most popular cms in the world, and with many minds working on it, it's probably better than anything I could come up with on my own on the fly.
Wordpress does make the effort to hash passwords before storing them, and there are numerous plugins to extend security, and regular updates: which I feel good about.
Next, I create my php scripts. The php scripts take a POST response over https and use it to move data into the database. The output is passed as JSON back to the client.
I am by no means an expert in security, but I did make some effort: I made sure to use PHP VALIDATE filters and on all user inputs. But I've noticed after hours of research that there are a ton of topics on this subject, more than I could ever read; which makes me wonder: What's the best way to go about it? It's like buying shampoo... how do I know what's the best shampoo when there's a whole aisle full of options, more than I could ever try?
I'm still a little apprehensive about transmitting user data over the internet, and would like to keep considering other options to increase security and safety for myself and others.
I have thought of creating a login token that would expire after a time; an hour or two? This could become tedious for the end user, but I'm less anxious about transmitting a randomly generated token than sending a user name/password, and expiring tokens would limit the opportunities for cheating. I could even bind each token to an ip although some users might not appreciate having their ip stored :/ I think there is no perfect solution. I need to focus on finding the best solution for my particular scenario.
After all that, here are the questions for any who might have an answer, and wish to extend the discussion:
1. At current, how "safe" would my operation be? I know that no system is completely secure, but can I proceed with relative confidence that I've made a solid effort to protect the integrity of the data?
2. If not, what other systems should I consider putting in place? What search terms can I put in google to return the topics I would be well to learn?

Hello all! I am going on month two of using my VPS provided by @cubedata and I have learned a lot to say the least. In this review I will be breaking things down by my thoughts, some benchmarks followed by my current use and what I hope to accomplish with the VPS in the next month or so. So let’s get right into it.
My thoughts:
I honestly did not know what to expect when I first got the keys and got behind the wheel of this VPS. As you will see in the benchmarks, there’s a lot of power behind this plan and honestly with my love of Wordpress I needed something that was going to be able to handle the load that my main site and developer site were going to produce. My last host, many of you noticed the long load times, but with the transition of my main site nearing completion I could not be happier. The panel was a little confusing for me to understand right off of the jump, but I quickly got use to it, using the built in HTML5 VNC client to fool around with things until I was able to get the VNC client built into macOS setup properly followed by getting SSH enabled so I can tinker even on my iPhone. I would say CubeData exceeds expectations with 99.99% uptime, so I know my clients and business will always be connected.
Pros:
Consistant uptime
Fast and easy to setup
Panel Tools are powerful, limited and direct
Cons:
I noticed with the Panel that the Virtual CDROM would often unmount itself while I was trying to get my server reset up and optimized.
Server Specs:

My plans for the future:
With this server going above and beyond my expectations, some of my plans for the future is to continue developing softwares and CMSs that I've had in development for a while now along with venturing into new technologies such as creating an AI Assistant for said projects. The sky is the limit and I see my self keeping up with and continuing to maintain access to this VPS until I out grow it. One thing I would like to do is create a small mail server, so I can move my email from gmail to have a [email protected], but that can come at a later time and date. Thank you once again to Post4VPS and @cubedata for the wonderful server.

Today I spent some time with checking out YouTube tutorials on Linux Mint. Linux Mint looks like a promising alternative for someone used to Windows, how good it is I'm not sure, but looks like it is one of the Windows alternatives that is being used.
I was wondering whether there is any one here who has been using Linux for a Windows alternative. What distribution are you using, and what has your experience been compared with Windows?
If you have some experience with Linux Mint, would be great if you could share it here. I've noticed that Linux Mint was upgraded to Version 20 in July of this year and Linux Mint fans didn't like the new version that much. Something to do with the way that Ubuntu, on which Linux Mint is built has changed how it deals with apps. Would it be OK to stick with Linux Mint 19, or would Linux Mint 20 be better. The negative of course being Linux Mint 19 would have many more updates, but maybe be more user friendly for a first time user?

I just wanted to do a survey kind of thing to check how many of us are mining / taking part in the pi community.
As the title suggests,
Are you mining pi coins on your mobiles. If yes, then how much approx do you have right now ?
let me state mine here,
slightly over 2000 coins.

Hi,
This is mainly for all of you who may have some mined pi coins in your accounts and have gone inactive now for some reason.
They have started a drive to do full KYC for free for some contributors / miners to help boot the activities through them [ may be others who join later or dont get the free offer or ignore the free offer will have to bear some cost of sending the documents or some kind of processing fees or charge. I have no idea. sorry ]
and also offering an option to change your name so that matches your identification documents.
You wont be able to claim the coins if the name you used in your profile their do not match with your KYC documents. This is to prevent fraud.
So all inactive pi miners with some mined pi coins in your accounts, please login and check your status.
Thank you
rudra
re. I am posting this just cause I wanted to let you all know. I am not benefitting in any way from this except may be having some pleasure of doing what I wanted to.
Thanks for reading.
