How To Install a Script on Your Website

Install Script on your Website Via Cpanel
Hello Friends, Today i am going to show you how to install a script on your website using cpanel.In previous article i have shown about creating website.Now login into your website cpanel.
Lets start
  • First Log into your cPanel account.

  • After login, In the "Software and Services" section, click on "Softaculous"

  • cPanel will redirect you to the Softaculous Panel.You can install different scripts from your cpanel.Here is the list of scripts you can install via softculous.
  Blogs
  Micro Blogs
  Portals/CMS
Forums
Image Galleries
Wikis
Social Networking
Ad Management
.
.
Much More
 
But i am going to install a forum software named as SMF.
On the left side of your screen you should locate the "Forums" category. Click on it and then click on the "SMF" link that will appear.

  • Click the SMF and than click Install Button.

  • Fill the given form

Choose Domain: If you don't have multiple domains, leave this as it is.
In Directory: If you want to install this in a directory, for example example.com/forums, enter the directory name. Otherwise, leave this blank to install in your main domain example.com
Board Name: Name of the forum
Visual verification image to display: Useful for spam prevention.
Board E-mail: The forums e-mail address
Admin Username: Your new phpBB username (for security reason do not use the "Administrator" or the "Admin" username.)
Admin Password: Use a strong password.
Real Name: Leave this as it is or enter your real name.
Admin Email: Your e-mail address. (Useful for administrator account password reset, notification, etc)
Select Language: The default language of the forum is English.
  •  After filling the form  click install

  • When you click the install button. The installation process will start, wait for its completion

Your website is installed.You can now edit setting by visiting the site.

It is a premium web software, but however they give trial for some days.

It looks all good and simple i think , Keep it up, i dont think theres any free domain hostin

I always liked softaculous. It's the best way to install a software if you are new to all this. But, many script authors do not like it. Maybe, more work for them creating and troubleshooting such set ups.

Good tutorial for someone who is new in webmastering. I see that you are making tutorials on your site too. Anyway I always install script without any panels.

for me to install script is just to put the <script> tag anywhere i want and it will work

for example
<doctype html>
<head>
  <meta tag here = meta tag here>
  <title>test html</title>
</head>
<body>
  <h1>test</h1>
  <script>myscript</script> '<--There where i can put my script
</body>

Nice tutorial!

It is always easy with Softaculous. I remember days when I had to manually build a forum. It's easy these days with scripts.
