I would like to report that my VPS has been upgraded to KVM without changing IP, @Dynamo can you confirm?
There are two things that are a bit strange:
1) My storage capacity is now of 7GB
2) The container has been upgraded but still my CentOS is unable to update over 3.10 kernel, so I think an OS reinstall from scratch is needed.

Check the partition . you probably need to expand the storage after the migration

For the kernel it probably because it use openvz kernel instead of normal kernel. Change the kernel or the easiest is to reinstall
