Its true about old games but games made few years ago already had option to turn on multithreading.
Even in windows 10 you can turn on option to force system to use all your threads.

sort of . back then AMD is best for gaming but worse for other than gaming . but now thing look different with ryzen . now AMD is much much better in task other than gaming . for the graphic card AMD is better in bitcoin mining (because of this i glad i have an AMD card) , OpenCL , Vulkan , DX12 and anything that use lot of RAW GFLOPS power because technically AMD cards have more power than nvidia card . but nvidia card have better driver and less overhead so that is why nvidia is much better in dx11 and openGL , and i have a suggestion if you buying a cpu or a gpu JUST GO AMD . there are almost no reason to go intel or nvidia because AMD CPU AND GPU IS MUCH FUTUREPROOF . it probably not as powerfull as the intel or nvidia counterpart but in the future it probably will get more optimization . for example now HD 7970 beats GTX 680 very easily

What cpu and graphic card are you using? And how many fps do you have on your settings?

I don't have problem with Intel GPUs if you don't want to use then for playing games. They are much more reliable than AMD's APUs.

Even old AMDs are doing well. AMD is a good company. They are not cheap alternative, but a competitor.

well the reliability is most of the time is same because cpu is the thing that doesnt break realy easily . i rarely see broken cpu . so it doesnt matter who made it cpu is much more durable than gpu . i see some gpu artifacting but i never see cpu break like gpu . and intel P4? i dont think it will be last long espescially it is a very hot chip . ehm.. they repeat it again with core i9

well now they are cheap alternative . you can buy ryzen 1800x for much less money than 6900K and still give almost same performance . the intel one is just SLIGHTLY better in gaming and have higher TDP
