I guess the battle is going to happen between PlayStation and Xbox. No other major players that I can see. I would however like to try some games on PC than on a console.

I had only one console and I dont know how it was called but I loved it. My uncle have PS2 and I was playing on it a lot too.
Now I like more PC than consoles but when someone ask me i will choose PS.

My favourite game console is Nintendo 3DS. It is my favourite because I love owning a handheld console. It is also 3D at the same time, I love playing many popular characters in 3D.

Super Mario 3D Land is also one of my popular game titles because of this.

I have both and consoles are still fun and the reason games are made. Since pc users pirate there games no one really cares about them. Consoles are where the money is and that money pushes gaming forward. If your playing on n a computer thank god for consoles because they are the reason games are made.

Because you play on a console it does not necessarily mean you are free from pirates. There are a lot of flash cards out there that pirated a lot of Nintendo 3DS games...

xbox one is my favourite because the xbox one controller is by far the best controller i have ever had so far. i didn't think the 360's controller could be improved on, but they've managed it with the one. microsoft claimed that over one hundred million dollars was invested in perfecting the controller, and i believe them. it really is an incredible controller.
more of a subjective point, but many feel the xbox controller is about as good as it gets, especially for shooters which are by far the most popular genre of console games. perhaps this is why microsoft did so little to the actual controller design when moving from the 360 to the one. instead, they focused on things like improving responsiveness.

i had old ps3 and i think  ps3 controller is easier to hold, and the control sticks are right next to each other (a huge advantage in fps). It's rechargeable, meaning you won't have t buy batteries for it, you plug in to a computer or the system, and it's good. Its also easier to hold in the hand, and is the perfect size for everyone.

I like Xbox the most because it supports the future proof technoliogies such as Kinect camera. I know that Sony's PlayStation also has a camera but that is very outdated comparing to Microsoft's camera.

I kind of agree with your thoughts with Xbox, but PlayStation is way more better since it has more developers working on it... meaning more compatibility
