Free Wordpress Themes
#11
Colorlib is a WP theme site which sells and offer their own free themes. Some of these designers don't like to put their themes in Wordpress repository which is sad. I would never use a nulled theme. It's like asking for troubled.

They don't add in wordpress repository due to wordpress demands, but whatever their themes are perfect.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm the same in this regard though.  I hesitate using any theme that hasn't been "blessed" by Wordpress repository or comes from Themeforest - although I also hesitate paying for themes.  I'd have done it maybe if I had less experience with WordPress, but with all of the resources available for free, I don't think one needs to pay for a theme.  Through experience I've also noticed sometimes that those paid for themes sometimes have a shorter shelf life on average than the free ones.  I've seen paid for themes at Themeforest nulled for no other reason but that the owner decided to move on to a new theme.  Then of course those who have been using it continue using a theme that has become a nulled and unsupported theme.

Themes are awesome for FREE but before using their themes or anything FREE from web, always read their terms and conditions https://colorlib.com/wp/terms-conditions/

Here are my favourite free WordPress themes:
  • Generate Press
I love this theme because of how dynamic it is - one can basically use it as a template for a great variety of looks.  The basic theme is free, however one can pay for a whole bundle of customizers and I purchased almost all of them.

  • WEN Associate by Wen Themes
I fell in love with this theme because of how user-friendly it is, the wide variety of options in building a WP site and the attractive layout and colors.  It works beautiful for a blog and the owner who designed this theme ensured that there are plenty of links to keep all of the posts together with easy reference to one another.

  • Twentythirteen
I love the very old TwentyThirteen WordPress theme because of its rich features.  It’s one of the older WordPress themes that has been created and is being updated by WordPress.  It is very ugly looking at first glance but very feature rich.  What attracted me at first was that it offers three menus.  When I was doing a WordPress course with WPApprentice, I also used this theme to create a child theme.  The child theme became a theme I regularly use for new WP sites.
