HOSTLEASE [NETWORK UPGRADE]
#21
@chanalku91 you also mention a distance here that you are just going to compare apples with pears. Our 1Gbps network uplink is shared so not dedicated to every VPS server. Every VPS has the ability to reach 1Gbps at some times but keep in mind that more VPS users use the same node as you. But If you look at Amsterdam or Lelystad and then Indonesia. All of this on the other side of the world, so what do you expect to get 1Gbps on a shared node from your location? Don't think so ... It also depends on your distance from the VPS. If you look at the Speed test of the Terminal that Jordy had posted before he went on leave, the average speed was between 300 and 350 MB / s. Getting 22MB / s is not so crazy when you have to connect from the other side of the world. So your complaint about your network speed of our VPS is actually not something you can complain about. If it was a dedicated IP I would have said yes we can do something with this, but unfortunately this is not possible with a shared one.

Gregory J. Costas.

Now that is true, but there are other things that can affect this, for example, data center port speeds below 1 Gbps, so I have tested it again with Amazon Data Centers in NL with a 10 GB File Load.
