None of my friends is still playing CS 1.6 either. There are indeed plenty of more attractive games out there.

Even me, i was so addicted to all of these games before, but now i don't feel like playing CS anymore again.

Oh no no no, the game didn't loss it's popularity, i'm not talking about casual match servers, i'm talking about competitive 5 v 5, you literally can matchmake with others on specific pug servers and go against another team instantly, infact the game sounds harder than csgo if we talk about duck scrolling and bhops, of course the nerfed famas was exccessively used by the CT side as well for mp5 for the ability of running and shooting non stop, but still on the bright side there is the "one tap" ak47 we all love, that's what made sense to the game, the m4 takes 2 shots on the head to kill because the CT's camp the bombsites, which made valve had to calibrate the game logic since competitive is 5 v 5, so they made the ak47 very effective both on long range and short, it just takes time to practice, there is no way of becoming that good without spending too much time on such game, but i still think it's a waste of life.

I don't really like this game. I was a huge fan of Team Fortress but after spending literally so much money on its skins while I was a dumb teenager, I grew up mature and left it to eat dust. Take that gab3n
No one knows what the future holds, that's why its potential is infinite

Wrong move bud, you should've bought some keys back in the day a key was worth 2 refined metals, i got myself a falchion knife on csgo by just trading on tf2, just bought premium gifts for several accounts, my german friend helped me with programming trading bots using C# and it worked like a charm, i totally agree with your idea about microtransactions tho, seems like a bad future for video games, it's really sad

the advantage of the older game like cs.1.6 mostly is their maturity . and also ability to run on low end pc and almost all pc can run the game . Other game like csgo require higher end hardware

The community is still available you can easily mod the game . The game is still playable in 2019 ans there is still lot of server . And you can also create one with your vps if you want
